Program Support Assistant (OA)

Major duties include, but not limited to:

• Prepares annual budget estimates.
• Prepares, receives, analyzes, and records purchase requests.
• Submits funding requests as required.
• Performs monthly/quarterly reconciliation of all accounts to ensure accounting data and purchase orders balance.
• Advises and informs EMS Chief of any irregularities in purchase orders.
• Creates files and maintains contract records.
• Coordinates, compiles, and prepares reports.
• Develops and maintains a thorough quality management program
• Serves as a consultant to the Chief and Assistant Chief of EMS concerning implementing and maintaining a waste program.
• Serves as Assistant Information Security Office for the service.
• Attends meetings as directed.
• Provides education/training that addresses automated information systems security issues.
• Reviews both incoming and outgoing correspondences.
• Maintains EMS Chief's calendar, scheduling appointments, and managing suspenses.
• Participates in section meetings.
• Submits travel requests, assists with scheduling trips, making reservations, and filing subsequent expense reports.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
