While many of the core technical requirements remain the same, the role has evolved and the emphasis has shifted toward a more senior, enterprise-focused profile.Key Changes to Note:Master Data Management (MDM) is now the primary focus. The client is looking for candidates who have helped lead or drive enterprise MDM initiatives—not just supported them.Enterprise data governance experience is much more important. Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, reference data management, governance frameworks, and data stewardship is highly desirable.Strategic leadership is expected. Candidates should be able to develop MDM roadmaps, define governance standards, build stakeholder consensus, and support enterprise-wide data initiatives.AWS experience is now a significant requirement. Experience with services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR, or RDS is preferred.Enterprise MDM platform experience is a plus. Exposure to Informatica MDM, Reltio, Semarchy, Profisee, SAP MDG, or similar solutions will strengthen a candidate's profile.Multifamily mortgage experience is preferred. Candidates with Freddie Mac, Client, or similar housing finance experience—particularly within the Multifamily business—will be especially relevant.Product analytics is no longer the primary emphasis. While strong SQL, ETL, and analytical skills remain essential, the client is placing greater value on enterprise data management, governance, and strategic planning than on dashboarding or KPI development.The core technical expectations remain unchanged:Advanced SQLETL/Data IntegrationData ManagementStrong stakeholder communicationMortgage or financial services experienceCross-functional collaboration with business, product, engineering, and architecture teamsPlease keep these updates in mind when submitting candidates.
