Structural Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Structural Engineer to perform analysis and design with expertise in lateral analysis and building codes.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, emphasis on Structural Engineering required; MS preferred
• Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng) required
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience
• Proficient with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
• Proficient with Structural Engineering software, Navisworks, Bluebeam
• Experience designing/analyzing steel and concrete structures
• Structural Engineer License (SE)
• Experience in semiconductor or general industrial facilities
• Experience leading medium-sized teams

Responsibilities:

• Perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis/design independently
• Plan and conduct work requiring independent evaluation and adaptation of techniques
• Apply engineering judgment and problem-solving skills
• Apply principles/practices of lateral analysis/design (wind/seismic) per building code
• Ensure high attention to detail and quality control
• Manage workload effectively; meet schedule, budget, quality requirements
