Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary - Assists students with tutoring activities; rate per hour dependent upon education level.

Required Education - Non-degreed/Associate degree/Bachelor's degree/Master's degree; placement test may be required.

Required Experience

Preferred Education - Master's degree in Math or STEM related field.

Preferred Experience - Experience working with students in a community college environment. Math tutoring experience. The ability to work up to 19 hours per week. A demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Assists students with tutoring activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to treat all persons with respect, dignity and justice, without discrimination based upon age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation or gender identity; ability to exercise the highest professional and ethical standards in the use of College time and resources and observe the stated policies and procedures of the College. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with students, staff, faculty and administrators.
