Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Deliver and oversee quality nursing services, maintaining accountability for care provided by self and those under their direction
• Apply the framework for professional nursing practice and development in all aspects of patient care within the Operating Room setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent General Operating Room experience
• Experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics
• Active Maryland RN license (Nursys verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• COVID vaccination required; declinations are not accepted and must be state recorded
• Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without scheduling restrictions; previous travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume acute care facility environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to varied surgical specialties within the OR setting
