Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position offers dynamic work within an educational setting near Mounds, IL, where you’ll deliver crucial social work services and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support student growth and well-being.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience providing services within a Pre K–12th grade educational environment is highly valued
• Strong communication, case management, and organizational skills
• Comfort supporting diverse student populations and collaborating with families, educators, and administrators
• Ability to develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct individual and group counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and strengths
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and administration to design effective interventions
• Act as a liaison between school, families, and community agencies to coordinate wraparound services
• Support crisis intervention and participate in the development of individualized education and behavior intervention plans
• Advocate for student services and contribute to a supportive, inclusive school environment
