Liability Attorney

Job Description A well‑established law firm in Coral Gables, Florida is seeking an Associate Attorney with liability experience to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, work closely with partners and clients, and play an active role in litigation strategy and courtroom advocacy. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of general liability, premises liability, and insurance defense matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials Develop case strategies and evaluate liability exposure Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel Maintain billable hour requirements in accordance with firm standards Support partners with trial preparation and complex litigation matters Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active Florida Bar membership in good standing 1–3 years of litigation/liability defense experience Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and evidentiary rules Excellent writing, research, and advocacy skills Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
