Inclusion Aide

The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We have an exciting part-time job opportunity as an INCLUSION AIDE with our Recreation department.

As an Inclusion Aide, you will play a key role in assisting children and adults with disabilities to participate in recreational programs in a safe and fun environment! This includes assisting our participants with activities and provide accommodations as needed.

What you'll bring:

• Some knowledge and experience working with children and adults with disabilities.
• Willingness to learn to better the experience of our participants.

When you'll work:

• Work schedules vary!
• Staff are able to work as little as 1-2 hours per week all the way up to 13+ hours per week based on the needs of our participants. Majority of shifts fall on weekday evenings (4-7pm) and Saturday/Sunday mornings (8:30am-12pm).

What you'll get:

• The anticipated starting pay for this $16.50-$18.00/hour, depending on experience
• This position falls under Pay Grade E with a pay range of $15.00 - $20.00.
