Systems Engineer (MBSE)Bowhead seeks a DoD SECRET cleared Systems Engineer with Model-Based Systems Engineering experience to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on the MK 160 Gun Computer System and Naval Fires Control Systems. The position is fully funded and in the second year of a five-year contract.The Systems Engineer will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments.Job duties include but are not limited to:Provide input/support in the requirements validation, operational conceptualization, and developmental testingWork within Model Based Systems Engineering principals using the Cameo Systems Modeler toolDevelop alternatives to understand impacts to the architectureThis position supports integration testing and the verification and validation of software releasesIntegrate with other engineers to find optimal software solutionsOther duties as assignedQualifications:A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical disciplineThree (3) to five (5) years professional technical experience with familiarity of Naval Weapon SystemsPossesses a robust knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodologyMust have direct experience with the Cameo Systems Modeler tool and MagicDrawIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds.Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.Target salary is $100,000/annually to $150,000/annually commensurate with experiencePlease note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
