About You: The Functional Medicine Nutritionist/Dietitian Are you passionate about using nutrition as a powerful tool for healing? You are someone who: Has a genuine passion for wellness, nutrition, and functional medicine Believes in a personalized, patient‑centered approach to care Is an excellent listener who ensures patients feel heard and supported Stays current with emerging research in nutrition and health optimization Communicates clearly and effectively with both patients and team members Enjoys working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment Is comfortable facilitating and leading group visits Qualifications Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Licensed in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut (or license‑eligible) Licensure in additional states is a plus Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in nutrition counseling or therapy Experience or advanced training in functional medicine preferred Experience conducting group visits or group education sessions strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to complete clinical documentation in a timely manner In This Role, You Will Collaborate with providers to develop individualized, evidence‑informed nutrition plans Provide one‑on‑one nutrition counseling (virtual and/or in-office) Lead and facilitate group visits focused on nutrition, lifestyle, and chronic disease management Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition programs Support patients with actionable guidance to improve health outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary care planning Why Join Wellpoint Health Solutions?
