Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med-Surg department. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and comfort for patients during their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in their status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Med-Surg setting.
• Certifications: Current BLS certification is required.
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Skills: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work within a team environment.
• Flexibility: Willing to float as necessary and work rotating weekends.

Dress Code

Scrub color: Royal blue. Appropriate professional attire must be maintained at all times.
