Commercial Service Technician

We are looking for experienced Diesel technicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Diagnoses and repairs various truck systems using electronic diagnostic tools and laptop computers. * Be proficient with any hand tools needed to diagnose trucks. * Ensures repairs are completed in accordance with the supervisor's instructions and are done in an accurate manner. * Maintains correct time clock punches and work order processes. * Maintains efficiency standards and attendance policy as required. * Stay up to date on all assigned OEM training. * Tag parts as required and follow all warranty procedures set by each OEM. * Complete repairs by OEM SRT standards. * CDL certified drivers test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure they are still in proper working order. * Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions. * Keep work area clean and free of debris. * Keep customer vehicles clean during the repair process and after the completion of repairs. * Perform road calls as needed. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required * One-year certificate from a fully accredited college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. * Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. * Basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office, experience with CDK a plus. * Certifications in Freightliner, Hino, Cummins, Detroit, Isuzu and other manufacturers. * A professional set of tools is required. * Be able to do physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, standing and lifting heavy objects. * CDL preferred.
