General Operator - Blackening (Short Tanks)

Monday-Friday
1st Shift - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

General Operator - Blackening (Long Tanks) / Packager

Monday-Friday
1st Shift - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift General Operator - Blackening

Monday-Friday
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
15% shift premium after transitioning to 2nd shift
Shift bonus available after 30 days

Job Summary

We are currently hiring for 1st Shift General Operator - Blackening positions in Rockford, IL. These Temp-to-Hire opportunities involve processing metal parts through blackening operations, inspecting finished products, packaging, and supporting daily production activities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Process metal parts through blackening tanks according to production requirements.
Monitor parts throughout the finishing process to ensure quality standards are met.
Package finished products for shipment.
Perform product inspections using measuring tools and gauges.
Move materials and parts throughout the production area.
Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
