Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with four 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirements included
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R (prefer ARRT but can accept RCIS if they don't have both)
• New York state license required in hand to submit
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Floating to other units required
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Skills include cardiac implant closure device, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal
• Handle percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
• Equipment setup, sterile technique, and maintaining sterile field
• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Room circulation and scrub procedures
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• First-time travelers accepted
