Crate Builder, Packaging - 1st shift

Job TitlePattison ID - Design, Build, and Maintain Physical Spaces and FacilitiesPattison ID is looking for skilled individuals to design, measure, cut, and assemble custom wooden crates according to product specifications. Essential job functions include building skids, pallets, and specialty containers for shipping and storage, interpreting work orders, blueprints, technical drawings, and packing instructions, and safely operating woodworking and fabrication equipment. The role requires selecting appropriate materials based on product size, weight, and fragility, applying protective packaging methods, ensuring packaging meets shipping regulations and industry standards, inspecting finished crates for structural integrity and quality control, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, read tape measures accurately and perform basic math calculations, experience operating hand and power tools safely, ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods, strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, reliable attendance, and strong work ethic.Pattison ID operates independently within The Jim Pattison Group, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada and comprised of over 605 locations worldwide.
