As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain accurate access records. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records. Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Observe and report unusual activity, damaged access points, or policy violations, completing clear and timely incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
