Mammography Technologist PRN

Role Overview: The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams, providing essential data for physicians. Working under the guidance of a Radiologist or Manager, they ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Perform Breast and Bone Density imaging according to department protocols, minimizing exposure using ALARA principles. Evaluate image quality, handle data post-processing, and ensure proper patient identification. Deliver patient-centered care, addressing patient needs and maintaining safety standards. Assist radiologists with procedures and adhere to aseptic techniques and emergency protocols. Comply with organizational policies, standards, and ethical conduct. Qualifications & Skills Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion. Certifications: BLS, ARRT-M (Mammography), ARRT-R (Radiography) upon hire. Minimum two years of diagnostic radiography experience or at least one year in breast imaging. Strong operating skills for radiographic equipment, excellent communication, and patient service skills.
