Event and Community Engagement Coordinator Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 Annually Application Deadline: N/A Position Overview The Event & Community Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in bringing the David Street Station mission to life. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating community events, creating engaging social media content, promoting programs and events, and building meaningful relationships with community members, sponsors, volunteers, and local businesses. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute community events throughout the year Manage event logistics, vendor communication, volunteer coordination, and event setup Lead the physical setup and teardown of events, including moving tents, barricades, tables, signage, and other event equipment Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes the promotion of events, programs and fundraising initiatives through traditional media, digital media, social media and printed materials Build and maintain positive relationships with sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and guests Represent David Street Station in a professional, welcoming, and enthusiastic manner Support the day-to-day operations of the organization as needed We’re Looking for Someone Who Is: Highly organized and detail-oriented A self-starter who takes initiative Energetic, positive, and adaptable Creative with social media and marketing A strong communicator with excellent people skills including verbal and written communication A collaborative team player Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Passionate about serving the community Experienced in event coordination (preferred but not required) Physical & Schedule Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable performing physical work, including setting up and tearing down events Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during events Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during the busy summer event season and some weekends in the winter Full-time position Annual salary: $40,000–$45,000, depending on experience Health and dental insurance Paid Time Off (PTO starts at 80 hours annually) 10 paid holidays Benefits include a flexible, mission-driven work environment where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Casper community Equal Opportunity Employer David Street Station is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
