In-House Counsel

In-House Counsel iCare Health Network operates twelve skilled nursing facilities, the majority of which are located in the Greater Hartford area. iCare is seeking In-House Counsel to assist the company’s Chief Legal Officer in supporting the various legal needs of the company’s managed nursing facilities. The position is full-time (40 hours) hybrid, based in Manchester, with travel throughout Connecticut and periodic travel outside of Connecticut. Responsibilities / Areas of Practice: Corporate/governance Litigation (collections, employment, general liability) Employment law Contracts Probate Regulatory compliance Qualifications: Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills (writing sample required) Admission to Connecticut bar (additional admission to Massachusetts bar preferred but not required) 5+ years of litigation experience at a law firm Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily-regulated health care environment Benefits: Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
