MLR is collaborating with a reputable hospital located west of Columbia, SC to fill a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position. This permanent role provides an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled OT to help patients regain independence and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess Patients: Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to design tailored therapy plans.
• Provide Interventions: Help patients improve daily living skills and regain functional independence.
• Education: Teach patients and families therapeutic exercises and strategies for at-home care.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
• Professional Development: Stay informed about best practices and engage in continuous professional development.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in South Carolina.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
