Certifications: BLS, ARRT N or NMTCB required

Must-Have: IV Starts PACS Documentation in Cerner

Required Procedure Experience: Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization

Preferred Procedure Experience: Brain Scan, Renal Flow, SPECT Imaging

Description: Cross posting for Nuclear Medicine Technologist positions. Hours may vary depending on workload. Will accept first-time travelers. 3-room unit seeing inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients. Average of 13-15 patients per day. Required skills include IV starts and PACS experience. Documentation will be performed in Cerner. Experience with procedures including cardiac, bone scanning, liver/spleen scanning, lung scanning, and thyroid studies is required. Preferred experience includes brain scanning, renal flow studies, and SPECT imaging. Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates is required for all travelers. All travelers must be willing to adhere to safety protocols and procedures related to radioactive materials. Travelers are expected to work two out of three major holidays. References from two supervisors are required. Candidates must be able to handle a variety of patient ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Documentation of specific charting systems or prior community hospital experience is beneficial.
