Utility Technician

Inframark O&M Clarkesville GA, 123 North Laurel Drive, Clarkesville, Georgia, United States of America Job Description C&D Technician is responsible for performing general labor activities that assist at water distribution and sewer collection sites. Responsibilities Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities. Makes scheduled inspections. Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair. Shovels dirt and gravel. Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies. Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen clean up. Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24‑hour emergency on call. Education / Experience High school diploma or GED. Licenses / Certifications Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Technical Ability to follow manual and operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures and safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolition saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage. Communication Communicates clearly and professionally. Contributes to a positive internal and external customer experience. Willing to help others. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Problem Solving & Quality Pays attention to detail.
