Bistro Attendant

ABOUT THE ROLE

Friday-Monday 10:30am-2:30pm

As a Bistro Attendant at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be responsible for assisting residents in our Bistro in an efficient and courteous manner. The Bistro Attendant is a highly visible, guest engaged server role helping to ensure cleanliness and high quality standards of hospitality within our on-site Bistro. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.


YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists Bistro Cook with preparation of high-quality, fresh food efficiently and courteously
• Promotes a high standard of guest satisfaction through excellent hospitality by greeting guests, responding to requests efficiently, and accommodating special requests as needed
• Prepares the Bistro for service maintaining all flatware, condiments and beverages in a constant state of readiness
• Encourage and invites guests to enjoy meals, snacks and beverages in the Bistro
• Maintains a professional image at all times through appropriate appearance, dress and interactions with guests
• Ensure food quality, freshness and adequate supply throughout the day
• Monitors and maintains Bistro supplies and stock levels
• Assist with kitchen and restaurant tasks including setup, service and cleanup as needed
• Adhere to health department regulations and company sanitation standards
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Minimum of 6 months Server or Barista experience preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
• All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.
