Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students across multiple districts by providing vital psychological services during the 2026-2027 school year. Support K-12 students primarily onsite in Emporia and, on occasion, in surrounding districts—all conveniently located within a short drive. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are dedicated to fostering student success, collaborating closely with educational staff, and ensuring that every student receives the support they need.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
• Current and valid Kansas Psychologist License
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and consult with faculty and families
• Adaptability in working across multiple school sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and participate in IEP development
• Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as appropriate
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Travel between assigned districts within 20 minutes of Emporia as required
• Serve as a resource for special education teams and foster an inclusive environment
