NOW HIRING: Full Time Area Support Director

Are you an experienced Childcare Director who loves leading teams, building strong schools, and stepping in wherever you’re needed most?

The Academy Preschools is looking for a Childcare Area Support Director to join our leadership team!

This is a unique leadership position created to provide additional Director-level support across our 12 preschool locations.

Your first 90 days will be spent training throughout all 12 Academy locations. You’ll get to know our schools, leadership teams, teachers, families, policies, curriculum, and company culture so that you’re prepared to confidently step into any location when needed.

Following training, you’ll serve as our Area Support Director, providing Director-level coverage and leadership when:

• A Director is on vacation or PTO
• A Director needs a day off
• A school has an unexpected leadership absence
• A Director position becomes vacant
• A school needs additional leadership support
• A new Director needs assistance or training

You won’t be assigned to just one school—you’ll become a trusted leadership resource for all 12.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has strong childcare leadership and Director experience
• Can confidently walk into a center and take the lead
• Builds positive relationships with staff and families
• Understands licensing, compliance, staffing, and daily preschool operations
• Is organized, dependable, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Enjoys coaching and supporting other childcare leaders
• Can quickly adapt to different teams and environments
• Is comfortable traveling between our 12 local Academy locations
