Role Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Charge Nurse Shift Full-time (30+ hours weekly) or part-time (up to 29 hours weekly). 8 shift options available. Make daily rounds to assess all residents’ condition and comfort. Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection. Assist the Director of Nursing and/or RN in developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care, including spiritual, emotional, psychosocial, and functional factors. Encourage and assist with restorative care in self‑care and group activities. Monitor nursing personnel compliance with policies and procedures and assess competency of clinical skills, evaluating staff performance with direction from the Director of Nursing. Communicate with physicians as indicated by resident needs or status and ensure follow‑through; maintain hand‑off communications with the incoming shift regarding resident care needs. Oversee direct care staff and ensure staff complete tasks and cares as assigned. Speak, read, and write English in an understandable manner. Apply principles of basic general math. #J-18808-Ljbffr
