Whether you're just starting your career or looking to grow in a new direction, you'll find opportunities to thrive, lead, and make a meaningful impact here.Job DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound procedures on patients of every age utilizing approved techniques and producing quality scans for physician interpretation.Reviews medical record for patient history and clinical data for correlation with sonogramPositions patient, explains procedure, and provides patient educationPerforms ultrasound procedures on patients of every age utilizing approved protocol Displays knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and/or physiological data to obtain optimal studiesAssumes care for physical and psychological needs of patients during procedureSelects technical factors and imaging modeEvaluates sonogram for technical quality and prepares for physician interpretationQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography ProgramCurrent ARRT certification and/or Medical Sonography with registry eligibilityRDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) preferred.Skills: Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and produce quality images. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
