Job Summary

Beacon Cancer Care’s medical oncology program is a central component of our comprehensive cancer services, providing advanced, patient‑centered care across the region. The program has grown rapidly with successful recruitment of new oncologists, a team‑based model for patient management, and launch of new subspecialty programs in lung and breast cancer. The team collaborates with surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, radiation oncology, and supportive services, and partners with community organizations and academic institutions such as the University of Notre Dame.

Must Have Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

Work Schedule

• 36 patient‑contact hours per week
• Call duties shared at a ratio of 1:5 on weekdays and weekends, coordinated with general surgery partners
• 1.0 FTE position with call shared equally among the group

Leadership Role Opportunities

• Participation in multidisciplinary Tumor Boards
• Research opportunities available
• Affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency allows teaching of residents, medical students and supervision of post‑graduate trainees.
• The program collaborates with regional academic centers and offers limited medical student/resident education and clinical research participation.

Salary

Highly competitive salary (50% MGMA + productivity).
