You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Responsibilities: Perform the intake process on patients, obtain vital signs, and accurately document medical histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the electronic medical record (EMR). Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with routine clinical procedures, including injections, wound care, dressing changes, and minor surgical procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all necessary medical supplies, instruments, and equipment are readily available. Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and properly process medical instruments in accordance with established infection control protocols. Accurately prepare laboratory requisitions and other clinical documentation. Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the practice's electronic medical record system. Monitor clinical inventory, restock examination rooms, and notify management when supplies need to be ordered. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Provide compassionate, professional patient care while supporting physicians and clinical staff throughout the workday. Requirements:

Previous medical assisting experience preferred; however,

willing to train the right candidate

. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a clinical team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation. is a plus. Dependable, professional, and adaptable with a willingness to learn new clinical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control procedures, and basic patient care is preferred.
