Shift Lead

DESCRIPTION The Shift Lead creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products while directing an efficient workflow for baristas and assisting the Store Manager. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards. Previous experience with coffee is NOT required. Previous experience in a leadership role is encouraged. You bring the personality; we teach the coffee! ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relation issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service experience Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush Serve as keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures Assist in training new Baristas under the observation and direction of the Store Manager Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors Assist in day to day operation and management of the store under the guidance and direction of the Store Manager Follow all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines QUALIFICATIONS Age 18 or older Ability to Lead a Team and willingness to help others learn and grow Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to mastering Scooter’s recipes and techniques Dependability, Adaptability, and Punctuality Detail oriented and self-motivated Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple duties PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Constant Standing/walking Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling Ability to carry 35 lbs Occasional climbing of stools or ladders Frequent spinal and wrist movements JOB TYPE & SCHEDULE Part-Time, Evening and Weekend Availability COMPENSATION Hourly Pay: From $13.00/hour Supplemental: Tips BENEFITS Free on shift specialty drink 50% food item during shift Discounted specialty drinks off shift Paid Training Flexible schedule Scooter’s T-shirt provided SETTING Scooter’s Coffee Kiosk EXPECTED START DATE Within Two Weeks of Offer Acceptance DISCLAIMER The functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job. #J-18808-Ljbffr
