Craft and own the voice of a category-defining company. As our first marketing hire, you'll shape how the world understands chemical intelligence - from messaging and positioning to PR and go-to-market execution.
Responsibilities
Positioning & Messaging
- Define and evolve our narrative as the category grows
- Build messaging frameworks for sales, technical, and regulatory teams
- Stay close to customer pain points to inform positioning
Content & Communications
- Lead content strategy across formats: case studies, white papers, web copy
- Collaborate with design to deliver high-quality brand materials
- Maintain a consistent, distinctive voice across all channels
PR & Brand Strategy
- Own PR campaigns, press cycles, and media relationships
- Build visibility via customer stories, founder POVs, and thought leadership
- Execute standout stunts and creative brand activations
Go-to-Market Enablement
- Develop decks, one-pagers, and assets with GTM teams
- Represent the brand at events, panels, and trade shows
- Lead positioning and comms for new features and launches
Personal Attributes
- Strategic thinker with a bias to ship and iterate
- Strong communicator who can inspire internal and external audiences
- Creative and bold - willing to rethink how marketing works in technical categories
- Hands-on contributor who thrives in early-stage chaos
- Comfortable working with founders and cross-functional teams
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years in B2B marketing with strengths in content and comms
- Demonstrated ability to write with clarity, accuracy, and depth
- Experience engaging industrial, scientific, or technical audiences
- Familiarity with B2B press cycles and story pitching
