Machine Operator Trainee | We Will Train the Right Candidate!
Clackamas, OR
Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour DOE
Are you mechanically inclined? Do you have experience using calipers or precision measuring tools?
If so, we'd love to meet you!
We're looking for motivated individuals who want to build a career in manufacturing. You don't need CNC machine experience—we're willing to train the right person. If you understand measurements, decimals, and know how to use calipers, this is a great opportunity to learn CNC machining with a company that believes in promoting from within.
What You'll Do:
- Learn to operate CNC production machines (primarily dual-spindle lathes)
- Manufacture high-precision metal components
- Inspect parts throughout the production process
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify quality
- Read measurements and work with decimals
- Enter production data into the computer system
- Load materials and replenish machine oil and coolant
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Move materials with a pallet jack
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience using calipers or precision measuring tools is required
- Ability to read measurements, decimals, and basic shop math
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Steel-toed boots required
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
