This role is designed to be remote, allowing you the flexibility to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while connecting with various school districts. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Design and deliver individualized treatment plans through both in-person and virtual modalities, focusing on individual and group counseling.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, engaging in triage and crisis intervention as required to ensure students receive timely support.

  • Employ diverse treatment techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relaxation training, and motivational interviewing, adapting approaches to the unique needs of each student.

  • Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with educators and mental health professionals on student cases, enhancing overall care coordination.

  • Organize and implement outreach initiatives focusing on wellness, resilience, and mental health education within the school setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse student population facing various challenges, including behavioral issues, emotional disturbances, and academic-related stress. By addressing mental health needs early on, your work will significantly contribute to improving students' personal development, academic success, and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work is mandatory, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practices and social welfare principles.

  • An active Pennsylvania License in Social Work (LCSW) is required for this role.
  • \n
  • A minimum of three years' experience in behavioral health or closely related fields is essential to provide high-quality and empathetic care.

  • Proficient understanding of trauma-informed care and social justice frameworks to effectively support a diverse client base.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in managing electronic health records and utilizing various software tools essential for remote patient management.
