Associate Director, Global Operations The global operations team manages offices in Sub‑Saharan Africa, India and Indonesia, and partners with Stanford GSB Faculty to deliver business development programs to roughly 1,000 CEOs/founders each year. The Associate Director will lead and drive efforts to continuously improve Seed’s global hiring, training and HR processes, manage annual project planning and execution for recruitment of participants for the flagship Transformation Program, review contract documents, guide budgeting, and serve as Seed’s risk management lead. The role reports directly to Seed’s Global Director and works closely with Global HR, Risk Management, and teams at the GSB and in South Asia, Indonesia, East, West and Southern Africa. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with the Director of Global Operations to strengthen team culture and routines to maximize impact of Seed programs worldwide. Manage and optimize hiring processes for all global hires in partnership with Global HR and regional teams; lead onboarding, training, development and offboarding processes and support the annual global compensation process. Lead planning and execution of the annual Transformation Program recruitment and admissions process for Africa and South Asia; for new regions, develop, project‑manage and implement the admissions process end‑to‑end. Oversee risk management relationships for international operations and review or draft contracts for which Seed Global Operations is accountable. Support Seed Global Operations and Finance in ensuring program execution aligns with strategy and budget. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience managing projects, including planning, scheduling, tracking and budgeting. Strong communication skills to educate internal and external audiences. Strong analytical skills to review and assess complex financial information; experience building and maintaining spreadsheets. Comfort with technology and data management. Preferred Requirements Experience in Human Resources and/or working in an international organization. Functional experience in operations, contract management or project/team management. Experience in international development, education or business. Compensation and Benefits The expected pay range for this position is $120,038 to $153,486 per year. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage reasonably expected for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. Base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package.
