Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports with precision and efficiency
- Reconcile bank statements and perform journal entries
- Assist with financial audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Monitor and analyze financial information to identify discrepancies or opportunities for cost savings
- Support the financial team in ad-hoc projects and analysis
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
