Risk Consulting – Risk Technology – GRC/IRM Platforms – Manager The risk landscape is continuously changing due to market volatility, geopolitical crises, widespread economic changes, regulatory reforms, and cyber threats. Organizations are increasingly seeking to establish, mature, and optimize risk and compliance activities to manage risk more efficiently and effectively, including providing greater visibility to risks – enabling decision‑making. As risk and compliance programs evolve, organizations focus on greater value from those functions that drive cost savings, efficiency, and insights. Clients no longer seek isolated technology implementations but end‑to‑end risk solutions that integrate risk processes, data, and technology to simplify governance, automate compliance, and deliver forward‑looking risk intelligence. The opportunity As a member of our Risk Technology practice, you will help our clients assess, design, and implement integrated risk management solutions that leverage leading GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow IRM, Archer, AuditBoard), EY risk solutions and intellectual property, data and analytics capabilities, and emerging technologies. You will bring functional, technical, deep domain knowledge and strong architectural thinking to help clients achieve measurable business outcomes. Your Key Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end ServiceNow IRM architecture, design, build, and deployment projects. Manage and coach on‑shore and offshore team members, developing functional and technical skillsets. Drive business development activities: responding to proposals, fostering relationships, and supporting pursuits. Oversee day‑to‑day execution and client interactions, managing project scope, timelines, and risks. Equip clients with knowledge of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management and other leading GRC solutions. Skills And Attributes For Success Strong project management skills to lead a project from start to finish and motivate EY team members. Proactively engage with EY team members and clients during service delivery and business development. Foster an innovative and inclusive team environment, mentoring junior consultants. Build and maintain relationships with client personnel, leading workshops, meetings, interviews, status reports, and presentations. Consistently deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed. Drive high-quality work products within timeframes and budget. Advise, challenge, and bring relevant insights to clients regarding: EY Risk solutions using GRC platforms like ServiceNow IRM, use cases, and functionality. ServiceNow IRM and other risk technology industry practices and roadmaps. Integration of ServiceNow IRM and other risk technology capabilities into client ecosystems (architecture, integrations). Enabling risk and compliance processes using risk technology capabilities (GRC, analytics, emerging tech). Risk technology solution architecture, including how ServiceNow capabilities can connect upstream and downstream processes. Delivery models and agile development life cycles. Post go-live support and managed services models. Keep abreast of current business and industry trends related to risk technology and client businesses. Demonstrate functional and technical capabilities, professional knowledge, and ability to assimilate new knowledge. Support business development activities: proposals, level‑of‑effort estimates, statements of work, and client relationships. Prepare and deliver client presentations using PowerPoint. Lead and support client demonstrations of ServiceNow IRM and other GRC solutions. Contribute to innovative solutions, thought leadership, and internal initiatives. To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience implementing ServiceNow IRM, TPRM, or BCM solutions/use cases. Alternatively, a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience implementing ServiceNow IRM, TPRM, or BCM solutions/use cases. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and completion of GRC Fundamentals or other relevant certifications (GRC Implementation, Third Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Flow Design, UI Builder, Performance Analytics). Experience leading a team to implement ServiceNow IRM functionality, including integrations via Integration Hub or API. Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance principles and processes (data models, risk frameworks, control frameworks, policies, cyber security, third‑party risk, controls management, exception management). Experience with assessment, design, architecture, and implementation of risk and compliance programs supported by enabling technologies. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), data analytics and visualization tools. Awareness of recent ServiceNow releases and functionality enhancements to the IRM solutions. Willingness to travel to meet client obligations. Ideally, you’ll also have Prior experience as a consultant or client‑serving professional. Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies. Familiarity with performing integrations via APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) and Integration Tools. Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (Spotfire, PowerBI, Tableau). Understanding and implementation experience with a variety of GRC tools (ServiceNow IRM, Archer, OneTrust, AuditBoard). CISSP, CISA, CRISC or other relevant certification desired. Big Four experience in IT risk, controls, risk management, compliance, or security. Comprehensive compensation and benefits package: base salary range for all U.S. locations is $124,900 to $229,100, and for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) $150,000 to $260,400. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Hybrid model: most client services roles work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
