Head of Product

Salary: $200,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a proven product leader who has led a product organization in a rapidly scaling environment and has already handled the scope described here.
• We need experience managing product managers and designers.
• We require startup experience; enterprise-only backgrounds are not a fit for how we operate.
• We require hands-on AI expertise and expect you to be fluent, practical, and thoughtful about where it adds value.
• We need availability for early-morning overlap with our Europe-based engineering team.
• We need strong information retention and the ability to keep multiple workstreams straight at once.
• We need someone who stays calm, clear, and decisive under pressure.
• We need excellent written communication and disciplined documentation habits.
• We need a startup-ready mindset that is adaptable, self-directed, and resourceful.
• Nice to have: heavy-duty or automotive repair industry knowledge.
• Nice to have: product experience in service-based SaaS for specialized trades such as home services, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or equipment service.
• Nice to have: experience working with a distributed or overseas engineering team.
• Nice to have: experience in a bootstrapped company.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Jira, Claude, ChatGPT, Intercom, and HubSpot.

• We lead, delegate, train, and empower six product owners and our design team.
• We coach industry experts into strong product professionals and develop their product craft.
• We remove blockers for the product team and for engineering on an ongoing basis.
• We join daily standups across multiple teams to keep execution aligned.
• We build the team so the daily meetings can eventually run independently.
• We run demo days to showcase new releases to the team.
• We own and maintain both the quarterly roadmap and the longer-term product roadmap.
• We turn customer insight into prioritization in partnership with Customer Success, Sales, the President, and the CEO.
• We set quarterly OKRs, remain accountable to them, and present them to the team.
• We oversee multiple module builds running in parallel while protecting quality.
• We track every release and keep the team updated weekly on progress and projected ship dates.
• We keep the executive team informed on product status.
• We support resource planning across product, engineering, and QA so deadlines are met.
• We own release notes, release videos, and support documentation.
• We make sure Support has the materials they need to succeed from day one of each release.
