Overview JPW Companies is looking for a hardworking individual to join our structural steel fabrication shop team If you're physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial environment - we want to hear from you. Salary is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Responsibilities
- Load structural steel onto flatbed trailers
- Operate a 10-ton overhead crane
- Climb on and off high flatbed trailers daily
- Cut and carry 4x4x8 lumber
- Scan and track steel pieces while loading
- Work safely in a fast-paced shop environment
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- Comfortable working at heights on trailers
- Experience using scanners/technology for tracking materials
- NYS CDL-A license a plus
- Multi-story Bldgs. and Commercial Retail stores
- Electrical Substation Steel- Design/ Build
- Steel Truss Fabrication & plate girders
- In house Sand blasting and painting booths.
- Ornamental Handrails, Aluminum, Carbon, and Stainless Steel
- Miscellaneous Steel Design and Fabrication, Load testing (ie. Stairs, Ladders, Lifting fixtures, Spreader beams, Pusher Snow plows, buckets, blade fixtures)
- Plate Weldment Fabrications/ in house bending & rolling capabilities
- Press breaks up to 12' long with 250 ton capacities
