Job Overview

We are seeking dependable and motivated assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team. This position involves assembling floor mat products, preparing materials, operating basic tools and equipment, and assisting throughout the production process. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, staying on task, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to learn different areas of the production process including assembly, material preparation, packaging, and forklift operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Review work orders and assembly instructions to complete production tasks accurately
• Assemble and prepare floor mat products using hand tools and production equipment
• Measure, cut, trim, and prepare materials for assembly
• Apply adhesives and bonding materials during production processes
• Assist with operating annealing ovens and learning related production procedures
• Inspect finished products for quality, measurements, and defects
• Package and label finished products for shipment
• Complete production paperwork and route sheets accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist other departments and team members as needed
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay organized and work with urgency
• Must be dependable and willing to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to perform repetitive motions using hands and tools
