At Alpers Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Scottsdale, we’re looking for an experienced Associate Dentist who enjoys practicing at a high level and wants to continue growing, particularly in cosmetic, implant, and complex restorative dentistry.

This is not a position where you’ll spend your days doing only basic restorative cases while the more interesting dentistry goes somewhere else.

You’ll have the opportunity to diagnose comprehensively, build relationships with a great patient base, and treat a wide variety of cases in a modern, almost entirely fee-for-service practice. Just as importantly, you’ll work alongside Dr. Kris Alpers, who genuinely enjoys mentoring dentists and helping them become stronger clinicians.

If you already have a few years of experience, have begun doing procedures such as veneers, cosmetic dentistry, or implants, and are thinking, “I’m good at what I do, but I know I can get better,” we’d like to meet you.

You’ll also have access to technology including CBCT imaging, iTero scanning, digital dentistry, 3D printing, smile simulations, and advanced laser technology.

We are hiring an associate because we want to build a meaningful role for that dentist.

We don't intend to bring you in and leave you competing for whatever treatment happens to be left over. We want you to have a productive schedule, develop your own relationships with patients, and have opportunities to take on rewarding cases as your skills grow.

Who We’re Looking For

This position is best suited for a dentist who has been practicing for a few years and is comfortable with general restorative dentistry.

Ideally, you’ve also gained some experience with cosmetic dentistry, veneers, implants, or other advanced procedures and want to keep building those skills.

You’ll probably be a great fit here if you:

• Have a valid Arizona dental license and DEA registration

• Have post-dental-school clinical experience

• Have strong general and restorative dentistry skills

• Have some experience or a strong clinical interest in cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and implants

• Care about doing dentistry well, not simply doing more dentistry

• Enjoy building trust and communicating treatment clearly

• Welcome feedback and want mentorship

• Are curious and committed to continuing education

• Want to be part of a collaborative team rather than simply working alongside one

We aren't looking for someone who thinks they already know everything. And we aren't looking for a brand-new dentist who still needs to develop the fundamentals of everyday practice.

We're looking for someone in that exciting middle ground: a capable dentist who wants to become an exceptional one.

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide comprehensive dental care while developing long-term relationships with your patients. That includes diagnosing and treatment planning, restorative dentistry, and increasingly complex cosmetic and implant cases based on your experience and clinical development.

You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Alpers on cases, continue your education, and expand the procedures you confidently provide.
