The Warehouse Worker supports inventory control, material movement, and backlog reduction while ensuring products are packed and shipped accurately and on time to high-profile customers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone confident operating forklifts and reach trucks, experienced with inventory processes and warehouse management systems, and committed to maintaining strong quality and productivity standards.

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity.
• Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to warehouse procedures.
• Store and stage materials throughout the warehouse in an organized and efficient manner.
• Organize inventory locations and perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, unload, and replenish materials and inventory.
• Handle material movement throughout the facility to support production and shipping activities.
• Support efficient warehouse operations by helping reduce order backlog and maintain established quality standards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including labeling, packing, and preparing items for outbound shipments.
• Contribute to packaging and production-related tasks as needed to meet customer demand.
• Use warehouse management system (WMS) software to track inventory, locate materials, and update records in real time.

• Proven forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, including safe operation of sit-down forklifts.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control and material handling in a warehouse or production setting.
• Ability to use warehouse management system (WMS) software to manage and track inventory.
• Experience with loading and unloading trucks and materials.
• Proficiency in order picking, packing, and preparing shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and documentation.
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate power equipment responsibly.

• Previous inventory management experience, including cycle counting and stock organization.
• Reach truck experience for material movement and inventory replenishment.
• Manufacturing environment experience, particularly in production or packaging operations.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly inventory and work areas.
• Solid problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and workflow issues.
• Comfort working with packaging tasks and production support activities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team in a warehouse and manufacturing setting.

The role is based in a new warehouse facility within a family-owned manufacturing company that produces safety and traffic-calming products such as parking lot wheel stops, speed bumps, sign bases, and industrial safety mats using 100% American recycled scrap-tire rubber and plastics. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and highly collaborative, with an accessible leadership team and a long-tenured workforce. Employees work a structured first shift schedule consisting of four 9-hour days from Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM–4:30 PM) and a half day on Friday (8:00 AM–12:00 PM), supporting a consistent work routine. Cross-training is provided to help employees learn multiple roles and grow their skill sets, and the facility emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork in its daily operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lockport, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
