Senior Sourcing Manager, New Product Development

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Lead the supply answer for our most critical new product programs, from first idea through serial production.Serve as the single supply chain point of contact for key account customers and for all program supplier issues.Mobilize category sourcing, supplier quality, and NPI specialists against program milestones.Lead critical supplier selections — build consensus, vet new suppliers, and bring program intelligence into negotiations.Align supplier capabilities with product and technology roadmaps, including supplier technology forums with engineering.Deliver cost and productivity commitments through early sourcing, design-for-manufacturability, and supplier lean initiatives.Own capacity, ramp, tooling, and supply risk readiness across the portfolio, and report it to leadership.Lead, and mentor a team, creating an environment focused on performance, engagement and professional growth.YOU HAVE:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field required.10+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain or new product development is preferred, with proven leadership of a team.Experience handling complex categories and negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts; new product development / NPI sourcing.Skilled in strategic thinking and comfort working in ambiguity; cross-functional influence with engineering, quality, and program leadership; supplier and cost analysis.Travel minimum 10%.WE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
