Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Kennewick, WA, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• 13-week contract at a 111-bed acute care teaching hospital located in Kennewick, WA, serving the Tri-Cities area
• 2nd floor ICU unit with 14 beds
• Medical ICU with minimal cardiac focus; patient population includes sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with a charge nurse who is free of patient assignment
• IABP used occasionally on the unit
• EHR: Paragon
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (12.5-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Block schedules are not permitted

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current AHA-issued certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Medical ICU experience preferred; TNCC certification is a plus
• Ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment and holds themselves and colleagues accountable to best practices
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible to apply
