Triage phone/email inquiries; assist with pre-authorizations; maintain communication with various labs and insurances; and coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments. Confirm all pertinent information has been received prior to scheduled appointments and prepare patient charts and test requisitions as needed. Follow through on send-outs and test ordering. Track all testing, studies, and consultations; organize test results and assist with notifying patients/providers of negative test results as needed. Coordinate send-out of completed clinic summaries and result reports to families/providers. Act as a liaison to facilitate communication with and execute various requests from internal and external providers. Connect patients with resource services and/or other hospital resources if necessary. Perform other duties as assigned (e.g. maintain clinical database).
