Salary: $37.66/hr + H&W

We are actively seeking a Contract Supervisor to support an upcoming federal government contract. The Contract Supervisor will serve as the onsite central point of contact with the Government, oversee the Contractor workforce and daily contract operations, coordinate workload and schedules, ensure personnel training and proficiency, and maintain the quality, timeliness, and audit readiness of contract files, reimbursement packages, and purchase records.

Work Description:  

In support of a Federal Government client, the Contract Supervisor will serve onsite as the central point of contact between the Contractor and the Government for the daily operation of the contract. The Contract Supervisor, or designated alternate when acting in the primary supervisor's absence, will have full authority to act on the Contractor's behalf regarding daily contract matters. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Contractor workforce, managing schedules and workload, approving leave and timesheets, addressing employee matters, maintaining workforce readiness and coverage, and ensuring all contract activities and deliverables are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with Government requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the onsite central point of contact with the Government and act with full authority on the Contractor's behalf for matters relating to daily contract operations.
• Perform all supervisory functions for the Contractor workforce, including scheduling, workload coordination, leave and timesheet approval, employee counseling, awards, disciplinary matters, and corrective actions.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), periodic meetings with Government's Budget and Accounting Officers, and other meetings requested by the COR; adjust attendance frequency as directed.
• Review incoming tuition order packages for completeness and distribute or redistribute workload across the Contractor workforce to ensure timely delivery of all required services.
• Serve as the liaison between the contract manager and the COR, coordinate with the Government Contract Supervisor when schedules cannot be met, and report contract issues to the COR.
• Notify the Government Contract Supervisor when workload exceeds contracted work hours so the Government can prioritize work requirements.
• Ensure Contractor personnel receive appropriate training, achieve proficiency in all required tasks, and participate in periodic proficiency reviews; adjust training requirements as needed.
• Provide input and feedback to the COR regarding improvements to policies, guides, training materials, briefings, operating procedures, and instructions related to Contractor-performed functions and processes.
• Maintain adequate workforce coverage during fall and spring semester peak tuition-ordering periods, other surge periods, and scheduled or unscheduled employee absences.
• Lead monthly quality assurance meetings to verify that all contract files, reimbursement packages, and purchase records for the month are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen
• Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited educational institution, with a focus in Business and Management, Finance, Accounting, Law, Logistics, or a closely related field
• Minimum of two years of experience working in Business and Management, Finance, Accounting, Law, Logistics, or a similar work environment
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and online data systems
• Experience using standard office equipment and maintaining electronic records, files, and data
• Strong working knowledge of safeguarding sensitive, non-classified information, including Controlled Unclassified Information and privacy-sensitive information
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with individuals from varied backgrounds and organizational levels; fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, quality-control ability, and capacity to track multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a high-tempo environment
• Ability to gain proficiency in Educational Service Agreement business rules, NSTC instructions, tuition-ordering policies, military terminology, and applicable Navy rules and regulations
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain Secret eligibility based on a favorably adjudicated
