Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is hiring a Senior Recruiter to support its West Region. In this role you will partner with a wide range of hiring managers to recruit talent across Business Lines. Your knowledge and expertise of recruiting specifically within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) environments is critical to success in this role.This position can be based from a variety of locations in the US.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Manages full life-cycle recruitment including creating search strategies, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers and facilitating the hiring and on-boarding processes.Provide consultation to hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, coaching and guidance on best practices and sourcing trends.Responsible for developing, recommending, and executing recruitment strategy with decision makers to ensure a successful candidate search within the identified time frames.Uses proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional industry related associations, in order to build ongoing passive candidate networks.Builds relationships and communicates consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well informed.Creates a positive candidate experience (for both the selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process.Other duties as may be assigned.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and 6+ years of full-life cycle recruiting experience for architecture, engineering, and/or construction firms or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Requirements12+ years of relevant experience with Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction firms with an emphasis on relevant roles (Mining, Environmental, Environmental Permitting & Planning, Engineering, Engineering Project Managers, etc.)Experience working for a large multinational, matrixed organization.Experience utilizing Workday, SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and HireEZStrong sourcing and networking skillsExperience maintaining confidential and sensitive information with proven ability to make decisions based on sound judgmentExperience working with geographically dispersed, virtual teams, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team environmentAbility to change recruitment direction and priorities, based on ever changing critical needsAbility to work in a demanding, dynamic, and evolving work cultureStrong written/verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, and the ability to make cold callsAdditional InformationMinimal travel as neededRelocation assistance is not available for this positionSponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position, now or in the futureTHIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY, AND AECOM INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY JANUARY 9, 2027.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
