Staff Backend Engineer

Role Description

This is a staff-level backend role for an engineer who can shape architecture, ship complex features, and raise the technical bar on a platform that directly powers the company’s mobile applications and browser extension. The mandate combines hands-on execution with technical leadership:

• Improving the underlying systems
• Partnering closely with product and design
• Helping the broader engineering organization maintain a high standard for performance, security, and user experience

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go
• Meaningful interest in — and ideally experience with — Ethereum, Web3, NFTs, DeFi, and their underlying systems
• Experience building and supporting robust, secure, and scalable backend applications
• Deep knowledge of systems design and API design
• A security-conscious development mindset

Requirements

• Drive technical decisions and architectural improvements across the backend platform supporting the mobile apps and browser extension
• Implement complex features with a strong focus on performance, security, and product quality
• Mentor and guide other engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver polished, user-centric experiences

Interview Process
