Sterile Processing TechnicianLocation: Children's Hospital Colorado – Colorado Springs CampusShift: 8-Hour Evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)Hours: 40 Hours/WeekResponsibilities:Provide sterile processing services in a collaborative, team-oriented environment serving pediatric patients.Complete competencies and obtain sign-off before starting independent work.Follow daily assignments provided by department leadership.Requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum 1 Year Sterile Processing ExperienceMinimum 1 Year Specialty ExperiencePrevious Travel Experience with successful completion of multiple assignments, including at least one with more than two extensionsPediatric ExperienceEndoscope/Scope Reprocessing ExperienceRequired Certifications: CRCST or CBSPDPreferred Skills:CIS CertificationCER CertificationAdditional Information:No RTO approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.Medical and religious exemption requests for the seasonal influenza vaccination will be considered.Scope/endoscope reprocessing experience is required for all candidates.Pediatric experience is required for all candidates.
