As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Gretna, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through visible presence and strong communication. This access control role includes routine patrols, customer service, and reporting security-related concerns while helping to deter incidents. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important part in daily operations.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location, trailer yards, dock areas, and other restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Support gatehouse and access control operations by managing visitor logs, screening incoming and outgoing traffic, and following post orders related to key control, badge use, and vehicle inspections.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
