P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (P-PTA) Salary Range: $30-$32 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends and possible float As a P-PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for residents Administer exercises and therapeutic activities to improve residents' mobility, strength, and range of motion Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist Educate residents and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and activities Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care for residents Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records Qualifications Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services
